CESSNA C208B GRAND CARAVAN

The smallest member of Jetlantic's fleet, the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan carries a maximum of 8 passengers, but it is also one of the most dependable and hard-working. The 208B was designed as a stretched version of the original Caravan, and has proved immensely popular around the world as an excellent commercial turboprop. One of the major assets of the Grand Caravan is its ability to operate virtually anywhere, as it can be adapted to use skis, enlarged tires for unprepared runways, and even floats - the true definition of a worhorse. Within Jetlantic, the C208B is assigned to the airline's regional operations out of St.Maarten, taking on some of the most demanding airports in the world, such as St.Barthélemy and Saba.

The ATR 72 was designed as an evolution to the popular ATR 42 and flew for the first time in October 1988, remaining one of the world's most popular turboprop short-haul airliners since then. It remains in service with dozens of operators across the globe, with more than 400 aircraft built until the present day. Despite its relatively short range, the 72 is a favourite with airlines thanks to its well-known advantages, such as high efficiency, proven dispatch reliability, low fuel burn and operating costs. The combination of these with state-of-the-art avionics and a modern and spacious passenger cabin turn the ATR into a superb aircraft that combines safety, comfort, reliability and efficiency. Within Jetlantic, the 72's main role is carrying out the most significantly commercial high-density routes within the Canaries and Azores archipelagos.

FOKKER 70

The Fokker 70 was developed as a smaller version of the famous Fokker 100 jetliner. With a 70-plus seat capacity, it was aimed at a segment between mid-sized turboprops and smaller jets. The Fokker 70's characteristics allow it to operate out of small and challenging airfields which are common in Jetlantic's network, including the infamous London City airport. The first F70 flew in 1993 and due to Fokker's closure in 1997, only 47 of these remarkable aircraft were ever built, with no hull losses until this day. Jetlantic operates the center tank variant, with extra fuel tanks and increased take-off weight, which give it a fabulous range of over 1800 miles.

FOKKER 100

The Fokker 100 was originally built in 1986 and remained in production over more than a decade. More than 200 airframes sold to dozens of operators across Europe, North and South America turned this Dutch creation into one of the most successful regional airliners of the past decades, commercially as well as operationally. Despite its regional vocation, the F100 is perfectly capable of operating longer flights, with a range of 1700 miles providing it versatility for different types of operation. Jetlantic operates one Fokker 100 as a reinforcement for its short-haul network, primarily operating flights as a domestic shuttle, but also to destinations in Spain, France and Morocco.

EMBRAER E-175

The E-175 is part of Embraer's prestigious E-jets family, which includes some of the most modern regional jets in the world. Capable of carrying 78 passengers, this superb aircraft is one of only three jets in Jetlantic's fleet that can operate out of the infamous London City airport. In fact, the E-175' characteristics make it the ideal aircraft to tackle the most challenging airports in Jetlantic's network in terms of runway length, without compromizing operational capacities. Other highlights of the E-175 is are outstanding level of passenger comfort provided by the ample, modern cabin, and its modern conception and design, which make it a huge favourite with all passengers and pilots who fly it.

The E-195 is the largest member of the Embraer E-Jets, capable of carrying 30 passengers more than the E-175, also present in Jetlantic's fleet. Despite the weight and size difference towards the E-175, it retains excellent operational margins out of the smallest runways in Jetlantic's network. For this reason, it has been assigned to the airline's base at Vágar (Faroe Islands), one of the most challenging airports in the world. The levels of safety, comfort and technology have already turned the E-jets family into a high-selling series - more than 600 have already been delivered and this number is set to duplicate within the next few years.

The Airbus A318 is the smallest member of the famous A320 family. Within Jetlantic it is used primarily for short-haul operations, with the ability to face challenging airfields like London City or Vágar. The A318's versatility and operational capabilities enable it to operate safely and efficiently out of a very short runway, often subject to the most extreme weather conditions, making it the cornerstone of a unique and very demanding operation. The Airbus A319 is a shortened version of the A320. With a shorter fuselage and corresponding lower weight, it retains the same fuel capacity as the original model. These characteristics give it a range of nearly 3600 miles, unparalelled in its segment and one of its most remarkable aspects. The A319's qualities are also perfectly demonstrated in its sales volume, with nearly 1300 aircraft sold since 1996 and over 1500 currently on order. Within Jetlantic, the A319 is capable of handling all types of routes, from regional to transatlantic flights. All of this, of course, with the greatest levels of comfort provided by a two-class cabin configuration capable of sitting up to 124 passengers with superb pitch and legroom.

The -133 is one of the latest versions of the Airbus A319, embodying the development and know-how perfected through the entire career of the A32S family. The -232 is another variant of the Airbus A320 operated by Jetlantic. It was purchased for the airline's operations based in French territory, especially its Nantes hub. It differs from the -216 variant in several aspects, the most remarkable being the engines, as the -232 is fitted with the lesser known but extremely reliable V2527-A5 by IAE. The -232 also boasts the highest maximum take-off weight of all A320 variants, reaching 78 tonnes. This characteristic, combined with the fitted additional center fuel tanks (standard in all of Jetlantic's A319/A320/A321 aircraft), gives this variant an added operational margin, enabling it to carry out ETOPS operations at an impressive range of nearly 3500 miles.

The Airbus A321 is a strengthened version of the A320, originally launched in 1993. The increased weight in relation to the original design means the A321 has a lower range than the A320 and A319 models, at around 3000 miles. It is also slightly less powerful than some of its direct competitors, such as the Boeing 757. Nevertheless, the incredibly efficient A321 boasts the best seat-mile cost of any single-aisle airliner, making it an extremely competitive choice and a valuable asset to any operator. Jetlantic operates its A321 aircraft in a two-class cabin configuration capable of carrying up to 185 passengers, making the most of its spacious cabin to provide an experience of comfort and safety.

The MD-82 is part of the MD-80 series, originally designed and built by McDonnell Douglas as an evolution of the legendary DC-9 series. The model first flew on October 1979 and entered commercial service less than a year later with Swissair. Over the following two decades it would become one of the most popular airliners in the world, in service with airlines across all continents with nearly 900 aircraft built. The Boeing 737-300 is the most well-known member of the legendary 737 family. Originally launched in 1981, it remained in production for almost 20 years, with more than 1000 aiframes being built. The -300 has logged millions of flight hours while serving thousands of operators, and its reputation as solid, reliable and well-performing airliner is second to none. Jetlantic operates two -300s under a long-term lease agreement, and these serve as the basis of its UK charter operation, based at Bournemouth airport. Fitted with the latest avionics and a renewed passenger cabin, Jetlantic's 737-300s continue to prove their worth while flying to some of the most challenging airports around Europe and the Mediterranean.

BOEING 737-300F

The Boeing 737-300F is a freighter conversion of the legendary 737-300, arguably the most famous member of the 737 dinasty. It is operated by Jetlantic's cargo division throughout a series of domestic and European destinations which serve as a complement to its passenger operations. The -300F has a reamrakable payload capacity, being able to carry almost 16 tons of cargo. Its main cargo deck is able to hold nine pallet positions, while the lower decks provide additional capacity for bulk loading. Although based on the "Classic" version of the 737, this model is fitted with latest generation avionics, which make it second to none in terms of safety and reliability.

BOEING 737-400 COMBI

The Boeing 737-400 Combi is one of the most interesting commercial aircraft presently in use around the world. The Combi is a conversion of the standard Boeing 737-400 performed by Pemco World Air Services that is essentially a hybrid between a freighter and a passenger aircraft. The forward half of the Combi's upper cabin is actually a hold capable of carrying up to four fully loaded cargo pallets, while the passenger cabin is located in the rear half. It has a capacity for 72 passengers with the comfort and commodity of any other passenger aircraft. The Combi's unique characteristics and versatility make it a unique aircraft, ideally suited for routes where passenger and cargo demands are on par.

BOEING 737-600

The Boeing 737-600 is the smallest member of the 737 Next Generation family. It maintains all the operational capabilities of its older, larger brothers such as the Boeing 737-800, while its reduced size and weight enable it to use many airfields with reduced runway length, unavailable to similar aircraft. Jetlantic takes advantage of the -600's splendid operational margins to operate into the infamous Gibraltar aiport, often under challenging weather conditions. Together with the  Airbus A318, it is the only aircraft in Jetlantic's fleet certified to operate to and from the challenging Vágar airport in the Faroe Islands. Jetlantic's B737-600 is capable of seating 108 passengers in a two-class configuration.

BOEING 737-700

The Boeing 737-700 is the workhorse of the Jetlantic fleet, used extensively in the airline's domestic and short-haul segments. The -700 is the successor of the legendary 737-300, arguably the most popular jetliner ever buit. With a seat capacity of 148, this variant offers a great level of comfort and safety to its passengers, while providing the operator with excellent operational capabilities. It's performance and range mean that this variant has the capability to perform transatlantic flights at full payload capacity from Jetlantic's home base if required. Within Jetlantic's route network, this means added capability, allowing it the safe and efficient transport of cargo and mail simultaneously with passengers on commercial flights.

BOEING 737-800

The Boeing 737-800 features prominently on the Jetlantic fleet as the backbone of the medium-haul segment. One of the most popular aircraft in use among European airlines, the -800 is renowned for its versatility, performance and reliability, unparalelled since its launch. Jetlantic's -800s are operated in a 175-seat configuration instead of the more common capacity of 189. For the passengers, this translates into a seat pitch of 32", a bonus in comfort and well-being, especially on longer flights. For Jetlantic this means added operational benefits, as the payload reduction allows for an increase in performance and maximum range, making the -800 an even more suitable and reliable jetliner under any circumstances.

BOEING 727-200

The Boeing 727 is one of the most famous passenger jetliners in history. Originally launched in 1964, over 1,800 of these aircraft were built during its production run that lasted twenty years. Although the last aircraft were built in 1984, a significant number is still in service today, paying homage to an operational history that spans nearly five decades. A genuine workhorse and a true pilot's aircraft, its fabulous operational capabilities are the main reason for the 727's success. The Super 27, as operated by Jetlantic, is the most advanced version of this aircraft, benefitting from a series of retrofits and upgrades in terms of noise reduction and avionics which keep it on par with today's modern aviation standards.

BOEING 727-200F

The Super 27 is the most modern version of the Boeing 727-200 Freighter. Developed by Valsan Partners, this modification includes the retrofitting of two JT8D-217C engines and the addition of a huskit to the center engine. Operationally, this represents a decrease in fuel consumption, along with increased range and maximum take-off weight in relation to the standard version. This modification also allows the Super 27 to be fully compliant with Stage 3 noise regulations and operate without problems across the globe. By using its spacious upper and lower cargo decks, the Super 27 freighter can carry up to 20 tonnes of palleted or bulk cargo, continuing to play a crucial role in Jetlantic's cargo network.

BOEING 757-200

The Boeing 757-200 is Jetlantic's aircraft of choice for its medium-haul network. One of Boeing's most remarkable jetliners, the 757-200 is a superb combination of safety, efficiency, power and comfort. Jetlantic's 757 models are fitted with winglets which bring their operational range to over 4000 nautical miles, therefore being approved for ETOPS operations. The 757's versatility also means it can perform with equal efficiency a transatlantic crossing or a two-hour short-haul flight. The 757-200 is also the only model in Jetlantic's fleet to feature a two-class configuration, with a premium 22-seat cabin bringing added comfort and privacy to passengers, particularly on longer flights.

The Boeing 757-300 was designed in 1996 as a stretched version of the popular -200 model, increasing the passenger capacity by more than 50 seats. At nearly 180 feet in length, it holds the distinction of being the longest single-aisle twinjet ever built. While its range is inferior to the -200, it remains a very popular aircraft, particularly for high-density holiday routes, due to its efficiency and capacity. Another highlight of the -300 is the upgraded passenger cabin, similar to that of the 777 family. Despite its qualities, market circumstances took a toll on the sales of the -300, and only 55 of these remarkable aicraft were built. All of them remain in service today with an impeccable safety record.

The Airbus A330-300 was the first verion of the A330 to enter service, in 1993. Slightly longer than the -200 variant, the -300 can carry over 40 passengers more, for a total of 335 in a two-class configuration. Besides the increase in passenger capacity, the -343 has also a larger hold volume, which confers it a superb payload capacity. The increased payload means it has a significantly lower range than that of the -200 version, but which at nearly 6000 miles still provides it with outstanding operational margins. Its versatility and capabilities make it a relevant player in Jetlantic's fleet, equally at ease in transatlantic crossings as well as in the high-density Scandinavian charter routes the airline operates.

The A340-300 is considered by many the workhorse of the Airbus long-haul family. Developed in the late 90's and tailored for the 300-seat long range market, the A340-300 is to the present day the flagship of many airlines worldwide. Like all the most modern members of the Airbus family, the -300 is equipped with fly-by-wire flight controls and advanced weight and cost saving materials. Thanks to this, it has very low operating costs which make it the ideal solution for vital long range links to and from less populous cities. This four-engine airliner is known for having one of quietest cabins in the sky which makes it a passengers' favourite. Another of its features is a great cargo capacity, being able to carry up to 18 LD3 containers.

The A340-600 is the longest and largest member of the entire Airbus family, ruling the impressive A340 series. With a length of almost, it boasts a cabin capable of carrying 419 passengers in a 2-class configuration and twice the cargo capacity of comparable airliners. It's RR Trent 500 engines only use 56000 of their certified 60000 lbs. of thrust, meaning they have longer on-wing lives and reduced maintenance costs, a great advantage for this variant. Being a quad, the -600 is not subject to restrictive ETOPS policies, which enables it to travel non-stop over some of the remotest areas in the world. This in turn means more direct routings, reduced travel times and fuel consumption, some of the many features that make the A340-600 the ultimate ultra-long-haul airliner.

Originally designed and built by McDonnell Douglas, the MD-11 became a member of the Boeing family after the sale of its parent company. Designed as a replacement for the famous DC-10, the MD-11 soon earned distinction on its own, due to features such as an all-digital glass cockpit, use of composite materials and a state-of-the art autoflight system. Of the 200 built, 185 are still in active service today. The MD-11 is also remarkable for its operational capabilities, its spacious cabin allowing it to carry more than 400 passengers in a high-density configuration over an impressive range of almost 7000 miles with maximum levels of safety and comfort.

The Cessna Citation X is the most modern member of the Citation family, having inherited the flexibility and reliability that characterize all Cessna aircraft.
